Emergency Shelter

We operate an Emergency Shelter for adult men and women who have no other options for a safe place to sleep. We have room for up to 24 guests every night of the year, and we receive guests 24/7. 

Our shelter is on the Middlebury, VT Town Green at 27 North Pleasant Street in a homey 18th-century mansion that has been retrofitted to serve our guest and staff needs. We have created a wholesome atmosphere based on mutual respect, confidentiality, trust and compassion for each other. Guests, volunteers and staff work together to keep the home in good shape and in good cheer.
